Educational Objectives

  1. To provide a forum for the exchange of new research and clinical data on the effects of nicotine and tobacco.
  2. To provide I-depth presentation on recent advances in nicotine and tobacco research.
  3. To increase the scientific exchange between researchers and clinicians.
  4. To address nicotine and tobacco’s role in the changing health care environment.

CME for Physicians

The Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco’s 11th Annual Meeting, held jointly with the 7th Annual SRNT European Conference, March 21-23, 2005 at the Hilton Prague, in Prague Czech Republic has met the criteria for the awarding of AMA PRA category 1 credit to physicians not licensed in the United States.

The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME  activity are eligible for AMA PRA category 1 credit.

This program is approved for AMA category 1 credit through the joint sponsorship of Penn State College of Medicine and the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco. Penn State College of Medicine, as part of the Consortium for Academic Continuing Medical Education, is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Continuing Education for Psychologists

SRNT will be applying for continuing education credit for psychologists.
