To Obtain an Invitation Letter
The Program committee is not responsible for establishing your travel arrangements or obtaining visas. However, in order to assist with the travel visa application process, we will provide upon request a letter of invitation to attend the Annual Meeting. Letters can be given to authors of papers that have been accepted and to non-authors who have paid the conference registration fee. The invitation “letter” will normally be provided in the form of a pdf file via email. All requests for letters of invitations should be sent to email@example.com
Please include the following information in your request:
- Your full name as it appears on your passport- please CAPITAL letters for your family name (also call your last name or surname).
- Your “pre-title” (Dr., Mr. Ms.)
- Your job title (for example: BS/MS/PhD student, Research Associate, Assistant Professor, etc.)
- Your affiliation (university, company, organization etc.)
- Postal Address (this may be your work or home address, which ever you prefer), make sure that you include room number (if required), building, street, city, state, postal code and country.
- Email address, and phone number (home or work)
- Your paper title(s) where applicable

This information is required so that we can send you an electronic letter of invitation, but it does not give you a visa or guarantee that the Italian embassy will grant a visa. Persons with Disabilities
There are many structural aspects that can prove challenging for a person with a disability. The following preparations are suggested when visiting Italy.
- Inform airlines and hotels of your disability when making reservations to allow them time to prepare accommodations.
- Call ahead to restaurants, museums and other facilities to find out if they are wheelchair accessible.
- Train stations have accommodations for those traveling in wheelchairs. Please provide advanced notice to receive personal assistance.
- Italy functions on 220-volt current. You may need a transformer and adapter to successfully charge your wheel chairs.
Florence Airport: (FLR)
Taxis are available to and from the Toscana airport, also known as Florence International Airport (FLR code). Travel time to downtown is approximately 15 minutes. They can be called by phone or can be caught directly from the appropriate reserved taxi points that are located in various parts of the city centre and in other suburban areas.
