SRNT Volunteer Opportunity: Operations Coordinator needed

Are you a grad student, postdoc or early-career researcher looking to add leadership experience to your resume? Would you enjoy the opportunity to work with experienced investigators in an SRNT Network setting?

SRNT is looking for Operations Coordinators for the Adolescent Research Network. SRNT Network Operations Coordinators are responsible for working with Network Co-Chairs to organize and manage the schedules and documents of their Networks. Operations Coordinators perform the following tasks:

  • set up online meetings
  • take notes during Network meetings
  • help Co-Chairs move Network projects forward
  • send reminders to Advisory Committee members
  • maintain a list of Advisory Committee and Subcommittee members
  • organize Network documents in a Google Drive folder.

The Operations Coordinator should be able to devote 2-3 hours per month to Network projects. SRNT staff will provide a brief training session for new Operations Coordinators, and experienced Operations Coordinators are available to make suggestions and answer questions.

To apply for an Operations Coordinator position, please either 1) send your CV to  Mona Johnson, along with a 1-2 paragraph statement of interest OR 2) attend the Adolescent Network Meeting at SRNT (Wednesday February 21st, from 1PM to 2 PM in the Johnson A-B room) and fill out our member survey indicating your interest
