SRNT Web Site Update

Both the content and design of the SRNT web site (http://www.srnt.org/) have been enhanced by the SRNT Website Committee, which was very active this year. In the early part of the year, website content was carefully reviewed. The process for posting abstracts for the SRNT Annual Meeting was updated, as was content in other areas, where appropriate. Content that was considered no longer relevant and/or outdated was removed from the website. Over the past several months, the Committee convened frequently to serve as an advisory group to John Hofmann, as a new website design was being developed. This was an iterative process, beginning with the Committee's review of several possible website designs that John created for consideration. Once one design was selected, the process was one of refining the features and characteristics of the website, with the goal of having the website ready for the annual meeting in Scottsdale, where it was formally unveiled. John did an excellent job and the Committee as a whole functioned well in moving toward the development of the new website, which the Committee hopes will serve as a useful medium for both SRNT members and for the public at large. The Website Committee consists of Rick Brown, Chair, Jean-Francois Etter, Judith Gordon, Joe Gitchell, Jonathan Foulds, Beth Klipping and John Hofmann.
