Thinking Ahead: The
13th Annual SRNT Meeting

Planning is already underway for the 13th Annual Meeting of SRNT to be
held in Austin, Texas. We are thrilled to have Austin as our destination this year _
a city with a thriving cultural scene, a reputation for great live music and a
vibrant nightlife, and a selection of outdoor activities including hiking, biking and
water sports. We are also excited about all that the meeting promises to offer. We
are in the process of putting together the program committee, generating a list of
potential speakers, and incorporating attendee feedback from last year. One priority
for the 2007 meeting is to build upon past success and further increase discussion
across the three major areas (preclinical, clinical, public health/epidemiology) of
nicotine and tobacco research. Please plan on submitting your most exciting work for
next year's meeting. The city of Austin and the 2007 annual meeting of SRNT promise
to have something for everyone. The annual meeting will be held from February 21-24
at the Austin Hilton. Meeting and abstract submission information will be available
soon on SRNT's website (www.srnt.org). With your
participation, the 2007 meeting will be bigger and better than ever.
