Join Juliet Lee (Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation), Joseph Lee (East Carolina University), and Philip Smith (CUNY School of Medicine) as they provide an overview over intersectionality concepts and theories as well as practical application examples.

 

Philip Smith will provide a brief introduction to some of the historical and theoretical foundations of intersectionality, with probing questions and examples about how intersectionality can inform tobacco research.

 

Joseph Lee will be discussing the importance of using intersectionality to understand etiology of tobacco inequities for sexual and gender minority people.

 

Juliet Lee will moderate this webinar.
