Disclosure Notification for Presenters:

All poster presenters are required to address potential conflicts of interest directly on their poster or in an accompanying handout at the meeting. (If there is a potential conflict of interest that must be noted on the poster or if there is no conflict of interest, which should be noted on the poster as well.) 

Poster presenters are no longer required to submit a disclosure and bio-sketch in advance to the Society or CME provider.


Instructions for Poster Presentations

  1. Poster sessions will be held at the New Orleans Riverside Hotel. The meeting room location for the Poster Sessions is located in Churchill (2nd Floor).

  2. The size of the poster board this year is 4' high x 8' wide. (Posters can be designed and printed in any size within the 4’x8 board’. The poster boards are tack compatible, and tacks will be provided onsite.)

  3. Each author is responsible for assembly and removal of his/her own presentation.

  4. The poster sessions have a designated time in which the poster presenters are requested to set up, be available at their poster to discuss their research with the meeting attendees, and to tear down. The Poster Schedule for each session is noted below.

  5. Abstracts scheduled for presentation in poster sessions will be grouped, numbered, and listed in the final program, available in the mobile app, and also provided in the conference abstract PDF. (In addition, this information has been emailed to the original abstract submission submitter.) The poster board will have one presenter, and the boards will be arranged in numerical order.

  6. All illustrations should be made in advance. Bear in mind that your illustrations will be read from a distance of about 3 feet or more. Charts, drawings and illustrations might be similar to those you would use in making slides - simple and bold. Readability is the key. Do not mount your illustrations on heavy board.
    Tip: There is no specific guidelines/rules for poster layout, however the information should be typed in a large typeface, and keep illustrative material simple.

  7. Please remove your poster promptly during the scheduled removal times. SRNT will not be responsible for any posters left in the hotel meeting space after the scheduled removal times.

Poster Session 1
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Presenters set up posters
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Poster Session 1, presenters available at their poster
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Presenters remove their poster

Poster Session 2
2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Presenters set up posters
4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Poster Session 2, presenters available at their poster
6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Presenters remove their poster

Friday, Mach 13

Poster Session 3
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Presenters set up posters
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Poster Session 3, presenters available at their poster
