The SRNT-O nominations committee is delighted to invite nominations for the offices of:

  • President
  • Secretary & Treasurer
  • Membership – Lead
  • Communications – Lead
  • Education – Lead
  • Indigenous Australian member
  • Indigenous NZ member
  • Pacific member

SRNT-O celebrates it’s diversity. When making nominations, please consider colleagues with a broad range of scientific interests (e.g., molecular, behavioural, clinical, epi, policy) and from diverse geographical/cultural backgrounds and genders.  While we have ensured that Indigenous researchers are included on the elected board with dedicated seats, we encourage Indigenous researchers to nominate for any of the available positions. Indigenous researchers are those who identify as Indigenous to Australia, New Zealand, or other Oceania countries.

The term of office for each position is two years. The current interim president Professor Billie Bonevski will remain involved as Immediate Past President for up to 12 months to aid transition of a new president.  The candidates elected will begin their term at the conclusion of the 2019 SRNT-O Annual Meeting in Sydney in October.

Please complete the online nomination form here to nominate a candidate to the committee.
